The ADA administration consists of the Board and three committees: Resale and Asset Purchasing, Marketing, and Services. The members of each of these committees are listed below.
The Board: ADA members are represented by a Board of Directors that provides overall guidance and direction for the association, and three Operating Committees that provide day-to-day oversight of various programs and initiatives.
Resale and Asset Purchasing Committee: The Resale and Asset Purchasing Committee purpose is to negotiate preferential agreements with manufacturers of welding products and welding supply equipment. The committee meets via a conference call the first Tuesday of every month.
Marketing Committee: The Marketing committee objective is to promote and market the ADA with members, vendors and the industry, with the intent to make buying easier and more cost effective.
Services Committee: The Services Committee objective is to identify opportunities for business services which are purchased and consumed within an organization. The committee meets routinely to identify opportunities to purchase business services at a better rate than can be achieved individually.
